Spring is here and I couldn't be more excited about it. Plants coming alive with multitudes of leaves and blooms - it's an ambrosia for an aching soul. On that note, I made a very spring themed floral card - choosing the main sentiment from the beautiful Big Bold Seasons set from Winnie&Walter and many vibrant florals and leaves to frame it. I spent quite a bit of time deciding what ink colors to use and after about half hour, I settled on Willow (CTMH), Electric Lime (Ranger), Sunshine (MamaElephant) and Coral Berry (Altenew). All very vibrant and happy colors.
To begin with, I used my MISTI tool to stamp the main sentiment thrice with the Coral Berry ink and then once with versamark and clear embossed it. To match the sentiment color, I inked a piece of cardstock with Coral Berry ink, stamped and embossed the word 'celebrate' in white. I alternated the colors when stamping the leaves and florals to make sure the colors are evenly distributed. To give the card a bit of dimension, I used some 3D foam tape to adhere the word 'celebrate' on to the panel and with that, I was done with the card. Very clean and simple card to welcome Spring!
